Do observance dates change before sunrise? / क्या सूर्योदय से पहले पर्व की तारीख बदलती है?
The six declared Tamil solar observances use the requested civil dates under the named Tamil Nadu/Puducherry calendar profile. A pre-sunrise Panchang reading can belong to the previous sunrise-day while the observance remains on the requested civil date. Month rows and the PDF retain this distinction. Other regional and lunar festivals require their own rules.
घोषित छह तमिल सौर पर्व चुनी कैलेंडर तारीख और नामित तमिलनाडु/पुदुच्चेरी पद्धति पर आधारित हैं। सूर्योदय से पहले का पंचांग पिछले सूर्योदय-दिन का हो सकता है; पर्व चुनी कैलेंडर तारीख पर ही रहता है। मासिक पंक्तियाँ और PDF यह अंतर रखते हैं। अन्य क्षेत्रीय और चंद्र पर्वों के अपने अलग नियम चाहिए।
Why can Amanta and Purnimanta show different month names? / अमांत और पूर्णिमांत के मास नाम अलग क्यों हो सकते हैं?
The two conventions assign lunar-month names differently around the full Moon. This view keeps both labels visible and applies its declared intercalation rules instead of treating either label as a universal calendar.
दोनों पद्धतियाँ पूर्णिमा के आसपास चंद्र-मास के नाम अलग ढंग से देती हैं। यह दृश्य दोनों नाम दिखाता है और अपने घोषित अधिक-मास नियम लागू करता है; किसी एक को सार्वभौमिक कैलेंडर नहीं मानता।

An Adhika lunation contains no sidereal solar sign ingress between consecutive new Moons. The additional-month flag is retained explicitly in both displayed naming conventions.

How is Kshaya represented? / क्षय मास कैसे दिखाया जाता है?
A two-ingress lunation keeps the declared whole-lunation month name and lists the omitted month. The IGNOU split-paksha interpretation is shown separately when applicable, without merging the two conventions.

How does the Tamil solar date differ from the lunar month? / तमिल सौर तारीख चंद्र-मास से कैसे अलग है?
Tamil month and day follow the locally assigned solar-ingress calendar. Amanta and Purnimanta follow lunar phases. Their boundaries need not fall on the same civil date.
तमिल मास और दिन स्थानीय रूप से निर्धारित सौर संक्रांति कैलेंडर से चलते हैं। अमांत और पूर्णिमांत चंद्र कलाओं से चलते हैं। उनकी सीमाएँ एक ही कैलेंडर तारीख पर होना आवश्यक नहीं।
How should I read the year name and era-year labels? / वर्ष-नाम और संवत-वर्ष के लेबल कैसे पढ़ें?
The declared southern sixty-year cycle follows the assigned Chithirai opening. The display does not substitute a northern Jupiter-based cycle or infer a lunar-year boundary. Elapsed years count completed years; the current ordinal counts the year in progress. Both Saka and Kali labels here use the declared Meshadi boundary. They are not national-Saka calendar dates.

Why are several season and Ayana labels shown? / कई ऋतु और अयन नाम क्यों दिखते हैं?
Lunar month-pair seasons, tropical solar seasons, ritual sidereal Ayana and tropical solstice Ayana are distinct conventions. Their labels can differ; none is a local weather forecast.
चंद्र मास-युग्म ऋतु, सायन सौर ऋतु, धार्मिक निरयण अयन और सायन अयनांत आधारित अयन अलग पद्धतियाँ हैं। उनके नाम अलग हो सकते हैं; कोई स्थानीय मौसम की भविष्यवाणी नहीं है।
What changes when I enter an observation time? / अवलोकन समय देने से क्या बदलता है?
The sunrise-day is identified for that instant, including the previous day before sunrise. A separate panel shows the lunar and season labels at the selected time; the sunrise summary remains labelled separately.

Does the month view include every date? / क्या मासिक दृश्य में हर तारीख है?
The selected Gregorian civil month includes one row per date. Select a row for calendar details, sunrise states and all Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana and Nakshatra Pada changes until the next sunrise. Times after midnight show their full date. The calculation interval is available for each change.

Can this select a festival or Muhurat by itself? / क्या इससे अकेले पर्व या मुहूर्त चुना जा सकता है?
No. Festival precedence and activity-specific Muhurat rules need their own calculations. Use the dedicated tools, and retain the location and named convention when comparing results.
