Why can the first displayed Mahadasha be only a remaining portion?
The birth occurs within a lunar-based starting period. The balance at birth determines the remaining portion rather than restarting that period from zero.
Do the major-period timestamps identify an exact event time?
No. They delimit the returned Mahadasha sequence. The timestamp is a calculation boundary, not an appointment with a predicted event.
Can I read an Antardasha from a Mahadasha row alone?
No. A major-period row does not specify its nested subperiod. Use the advanced period workspace when that additional timing layer is needed.
